ILKA RATHSACK

Contemporary Geometric Abstract Mandala Artist, South Australia

I create mandalas as a channel for discovering my truth. Through painting I bring to my consciousness what is hidden. My work is a contemporary expression of the sacred geometry of the mandala.

Combining inspiration from ancient cultures with contemporary consciousness of today, I decipher my interpretation of the underlying structure of life, my connection with the Divine and my relationship between the Cosmos and the Earth.

My mandala art mostly contains symmetrical geometric patterns featuring elements of sacred geometry. My signature is the fine precise detailed line work and bright bold colours I use and the background designs.

My body of work for the 1st edition of Mandala Days is a series of extremely personal mandala art (acrylic paint on stretched canvas) inspired by my inner and outer experiences during 2018. At this stage they are not available for sale.
