Medicine Supplies

❂ Gather Your Supplies ❂

Here are the supplies I used in the demonstration, but please translate the exercise to use the materials you already have – there’s no requirement to stick to the same. The basics you need to follow along are a pair of compasses, a straight edge, something to draw with, something to write with and a journal or piece of paper to work on.

 

  • Daler Rowney 140lbs Aquafine Watercolour Paper (250mm x 250mm)
  • Ecobra Universal Master Bow Compass : Model 60500 (you can use any compasses)
  • Prismacolor Col-Erase : 20053 terra cotta (an erasable coloured pencil)
  • Derwent soft art eraser
  • Linex 2950M Cutting Rule 50cm
  • 30cm plastic T-square ruler
  • MagiDeal Plastic Round Circle Drawing Tool for Quilting Patchwork
  • GSS Designs Patterns Stencil Template – Geometric Figure A5 (15x21cm)
  • Ranger Mini Mister bottle
  • Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache : permanent white ; lemon yellow ; primary yellow ; marigold yellow
  • Holbein Artists’ Gouache : brilliant pink G510 ; grey no.1 G620
  • Dr Ph Martin’s Bleed Proof White ink
  • Golden Fluid Acrylics : iridescent bright gold (fine)
  • Phano China Marker white/92
  • Jackson’s studio synthetic round watercolour brush size 3
  • Jackson’s studio synthetic flat watercolour brush size 1/2″
  • Unbranded cheap craft brush – stiff bristles for stippling
