I may be wildly out of my depth, but I just booked myself onto a weekend workshop at Samye Ling at the end of February. It’s called Drawing the Deity, and I’ve chosen to work with Tara.
All I know is that I’ll be learning how to draw Tara in accordance with traditional proportions.
It’s all part of my 2015 commitment to live as #iamtrultmadlydeeply, and practice sacred art.
Right now, I’m excited at my bravery. I’m betting I’ll be truly, madly terrified by the time I turn up!
Good for you! I’d love to do that, but cannot convince myself that I would ever be comfortable in a workshop situation. I’m looking forward to hearing how it all turns out.
It will be my first in-person workshop, Karen! So looking forward to it, tho – Samye Ling is an incredible place 🙂
WOW!! I just signed up for your year-long Mandala Magic workshop, so I am exploring the rest of the link you sent us. This non-artist would LOVE to be able to do this deity workshop someday! These last few years I have been exploring the Divine Feminine as a part of my life path; this sounds incredible. I hope you share what you are doing on your blog!! Blessings on this amazing journey…
So happy to welcome you to our 2015 Circle, Judith! I shall be sure to share how I get on at the workshop here – and yes, the rest of my dedication to the #sacredart path, too 🙂
Hi Julie,
Crazy question but is this where we will find the membership information that you talked about on facebook? And will your website be where we get all information and instructions etc? Or do you put things on facebook? Just hoping I don’t miss anything as I’m so excited to give this a try…hate to miss out!! Thanks..Jill
Sending you an email, Jill!
