It’s 11.12.13 today – now, that’s an auspicious date if ever there was one! I wonder what magic will come to light as the day rolls on?
In this episode of Peak of the Week, I share with you my special Santa and how I’ve come to find peace within, even at this stressful time of year. It was an emotional recording, and this was the at least the 100th take, due to tears. It’s just the way things have been lately, but I know it’ll lighten up soon – after all, the winter solstice is fast approaching – and I, for one, am looking forward to letting more light in 🙂
p.s. In case you missed it, here is the first Mandala Monday post.
I love your Santa!! And I love the giving that carries on — a gift someone already has so it is passed on to a friend…wonderful! We too bring out the ornaments the children have made and share laughter & happy memories.
As for your first Christmas without your mum…I know how this feels Julie. The first one is the hardest…it doesn’t mean that the ones that follow will be better or easier…they will just be different. Light a candle for your mum and she’ll be with you. And yes to allowing yourself to be with those memories and those feelings. Blessings to you. xo
