Oracle Oracle

It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s the peak of the week! I’ve been beavering away behind the scenes producing content for my online workshops, The Great Round of Mandala and I Am, I Am, I Am. It means I haven’t been up here in the top world for very long and I miss this place of sharing.

It doesn’t mean that there’s been no sharing, though. The sharing that takes place in Facebook between the members of each of the classes really takes my breath away.

Women meet in these circles, often for the first time, and open their hearts instantly. Each of them embraces their vulnerabilities and honours the strength and wisdom offered by their circle sisters. I can see magic happen in these groups and I can feel the shift in the very fabric of things.

It is such an honour to serve in this way – to hold this space. And I see it reflected in so many other circles of women, like Amy’s Goddess Group (which she has just opened up for free to anyone who wants to join) and in Annu’s The Yin Tent, where I recently gathered in circle and devoted a day to feminine practice.

Women are gathering – in Facebook Groups, in workshops and retreats in person all over the world. Old definitions and boundaries are breaking down and women are rising up (and changing the world.)

Nurturing seeds of great potential

When I started out with my Mandala course, I didn’t even offer a Facebook Group. But the participants asked for it. They needed it. I haven’t done it justice, though – I realise that now, especially after the experience of my second workshop. It’s all been part of my learning this year. So much learning!

There is such a plethora of offerings created and shared online. Some are more successful than others, but each of them has emerged from  the seed of an idea and the nurturing of that seed takes a great deal of energy and often involves a steep learning.

My seed for I Am, I Am, I Am contained so much potential that I simply didn’t recognise – until I had already created most of the content and released it to the participants!

It grew from a small idea of ‘let’s all create our own quick and easy storybook’, into something much, much more. I’ve not quite figured out the entirety of what it is, yet. I’ve a feeling it’s going to end up as more of a tree than the small shrub I thought it was.

I am learning as I go, in the company of some extraordinarily wonderful creative women. It is magical and humbling.
