I fell asleep last night whilst saying my daily gratitudes.
I dreamt we were on a house swap but needed to get back home because we’d stashed a dead body (of an unknown middle-aged man) under the floor in Martin’s office.
Before dawn, I was awake but still sleepy and my mind began to fill up with nonsense, so I plugged in my earphones and listened to a yoga nidra before falling back asleep.
On our morning walk, I declared that I was going to avoid being miserable about the forthcoming winter, in favour of embracing the change of season and honouring autumn for the gifts it will bring (putting to the back of my mind the thought of the six month long winter to follow.)
The wind was bracing, but we managed to catch the best of the morning sunshine and take in our Scottish countryside.
The purple heather really spoke to me. Wild and unruly, thriving in harsh conditions.
I adore my new art studio, even though it isn’t finished yet.
I can’t wait to get off my computer and christen it properly. It should be ready soon – I’ll be sure to share it with you.
What’s going on in your world?
