Hello! How are you today? It was a glorious weekend here – lots of amazing autumnal sunshine to greet the equinox. We took off early after work on Friday up to one of our local country parks. This is the view walking around the loch – stunning, hey? Can you spot the gull searching for fish?
Today is quite the opposite  – wind and rain and brrrrrrrrrr … Certainly not my perfect weather! Still, I think my morning Found Inspiration says it all, really :
Journal prompt:
- How does your body react when you create/publish/promote something you might not feel is perfect?
- Can you think of any benefits of creating/publishing/promoting something that isn’t yet 100% perfect?
- What have you been seeking to perfect that might benefit from a change in perspective?
When I opened up my shop on Etsy I created a momentum that took me forward before I felt anywhere close to perfecting what I was selling and how I was going to sell it! Despite that, it felt exciting and I’m always thrilled when my Etsy app makes my iPhone sound “ka-ching!” when I receive an order 🙂
Since then, I haven’t found the time to perfect anything about the shop! At this change of season, I’m keen to clear some stock from my storage shelves, so in addition to the 2 for 1 promo on art prints, I’ve put together a coupon code for 50% of all the postcards and notecards in the shop. To qualify, all you need to do is use the code INSPIRED at the checkout*.
*the 50% coupon only applies to items listed in the notecards and postcards section of the shop
Thank you for visiting, as always. I hope you have an amazing week free from the pressures of perfection!
Hi Julie,
Inspiring work…thank you!
I’m an (almost) neighbour of yours in Cumbria. I’m an artist, therapist and celebrant back from a year’s travel adventure.
Maybe we could meet up some fine day, perhaps you might be interested in joining me for a create day, check out my workshops on my web page. I wish you well with your creative journey.
Fran x
